Something to look forward to ...

Wow ! 2008 already ! Time sure flies when you're busy and engaged in a hundred things. The holidays were a blur. A fun, lively blur ... but still a blur. My body feels beat up, my braen feels like it's coming off a week or two of speed, and my whole being needs to refresh itself. Vacation with family this year is planned for late March. We're going to the Outer Banks for a week. Nothing but swimming and relaxing and walks along the beach. This house has already been rented for our stay and it is truly magnificent. Right on the ocean and not just the comforts of home but MORE than that ! Much more ... I wish I were leaving tomorrow.

But since I'm not leaving tomorrow, I'll try to stay in the moment.

So ... a new year. Any resolutions ? Of course I always resolve to update this blog more frequently, though I don't always succeed. We'll see if in 2008 I fare better. I've continued to walk every morning before work which has been a big help in many ways. The exercise, while currently indoors at the mall, is good for me. The company is nice, as I've gotten to know my walking pal much better, and I'm never late for work. Three big plusses. I look forward to spring when we can get back outside for our walk. I'll keep it up until I quit the P.O ...

I really need to resolve to eat better, too. Kelly shares that desire and we are looking to purchase a piece of exercise equipment this winter to help our overall health. It has to generate a good, full body workout but without being HUGE and without costing the price of a good used car. Any suggestions ? Of course we'll be checking out Craig's List first. I'm open to suggestions about what works ...

Not much else to report at the moment. I will definitely update my conspiracy theory portion of this blog soon. Things are happening much like I had figured they would. Maybe later I'll get my thoughts down on those !
